An update on our work to understand the origins of our endowment
Trust for London has previously publicly shared details of our work to investigate our endowment’s historic links to the transatlantic slave trade links.
It has taken time for us to carry out the research and consultation on the findings, which we will be publishing in full in early 2027.
The research uncovered broad and significant links. We recognise the profound harm and suffering associated with this history and are committed to setting out clearly how we intend to respond.
We will approach this work openly and transparently, working collaboratively as we develop our response.
