Rosie Hewat is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), with over 20 years of experience driving transformative change across sectors such as fintech, technology, social impact and biotech. As an experienced HR and Business Operations leader, she has successfully guided organizations through complex challenges, including cultural transformations, mergers, and global talent strategies, always with a focus on fostering inclusive workplaces.
A proud Londoner, Rosie was drawn to the Trusteeship at Trust for London due to its vital mission to tackle poverty and inequality in the capital. Her deep alignment with the Trust’s goals is rooted in her personal and professional commitment to championing equity and creating opportunities for underserved communities.
Rosie’s extensive board experience includes roles that focus on governance, risk management, and executive mentoring, where she has consistently championed DEI initiatives to drive impactful and sustainable change. Her innovative use of data and technology to enhance organizational efficiency further underscores her ability to make meaningful contributions to the Trust and its mission.
Outside of her professional life, Rosie dedicates her time to mentoring other aspiring professionals through initiatives like Leaders Plus and the CIPD’s Steps Ahead programme, as well as volunteering for causes close to her heart. She is an advocate for a more sustainable Earth and enjoys exploring the world, spending quality time with family, and immersing herself in music and creative arts.
