Levelling Up Policy Paper: Grantee responses

The Government has recently released its long awaited Levelling Up Policy Paper. The paper "sets out how we will spread opportunity more equally across the UK".

We've been keeping an eye out on the narratives around the Levelling Up agenda for a while now, and our Chief Executive Manny Hothi wrote for our blog in late 2021 on why we must ensure low-income Londoners do not lose out in an era of Levelling Up.

Following the release of the White Paper, we've collated responses from some our grantees advocating for Londoners not to be left behind.

Today's Levelling Up White Paper brings a welcome focus on narrowing the UK's geographical inequalities, but also puts a spotlight on the need for further devolution to London, to have greater influence over its own affairs.
