During 2024 we gave out £8.4m in grant funding, a total of 96 grants. We also committed £615,000 in social investment to support four growing social enterprises.
2024 also marked a new phase for Trust for London, as we launched our 2030 strategy. This builds on the work of our previous work, setting out our vision for the fairer London we believe is possible, and where we want to direct our funding to make it a reality.
Just as important as what we fund is how we fund. I’m proud that we’ve taken steps to make our processes more open, accessible and transparent. In 2024, we moved to a rolling application model, so that groups can apply at a time that suits them. We’ve set clearer criteria for decision-making, and we’ve published more about what we’re learning along the way. And we continue to encourage organisations to speak to us before they apply, so we can let them know if they are eligible for funding. These changes are the result of feedback from applicants and funded partners who told us that funders should do better.
