We are delighted to announce the appointment of Emma Wilkinson to run the Employment Legal Advice Network (ELAN) as Consultant Director.
Emma brings a wealth of experience and has over 20 years experience in providing specialist advice and representation.
Her most recent role was Principal Legal Officer at the Free Representation Unit. Prior to this she held various roles within Citizens Advice.
I'm very excited to have the opportunity to lead the ELAN network at such a pivotal time in employment law. Advice agencies face considerable pressure and are experiencing increased demand for employment advice which will only continue in the next year or two. I'm keen to continue the great work of ELAN and am very excited to work with its members to champion and support the provision of good quality employment advice upholding the rights of low paid workers.

ELAN is a network of 60+ organisations working to help people in precarious, low-paid jobs understand more about their employment rights - and how to enforce them.
Emma will be starting on the 1 April 2025.
