Rowena is Co-CEO of Ten Years' Time, a philanthropy consultancy that provides a holistic programme of support and development for trusts, foundations and High Net Worth individuals

Prior to this, she spent eight years at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Foundation, initially leading on National and International partnerships. She went on to become Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), providing strategic leadership across the Foundation on the implementation and embedding of DEI practices and ambitions across their funding, investments and internal culture. Her 25 years in the third sector spans the fields of debt, youth, education, health and environment.

Rowena is an Urban Health 360 Strategic Advisor, Peer Reviewer of Cities & Health Journal, Independent advisor for the College of Policing, Acumen Fellow and Trustee of Golden Thread Alliance Multi Academy Trust and Class 13. She is also a coach to leaders from marginalised backgrounds.

She has published articles in peer-reviewed journals on health equity, DEI and philanthropy. Rowena is a strong advocate of community leadership and has extensive experience in grassroots community programmes, leading organisational cultural change and advocating for social justice within education. At the start of her career, she developed a community-led youth centre, which she ran for ten years and received a Civic Award for Services to Young People.
