Alexandra Doyle
Trustee
Alex joined us as a trustee in March 2020 and is Head of International Green Finance at the UK's Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. She is leading the Department's work to increase the level of finance invested in low-carbon and resilient infrastructure in developing countries for the 2021 UN climate negotiations, hosted by the UK.
Alex has worked on public policy for 15 years, specialising in the role of finance in climate change policy. Most recently she helped develop the UK’s Green Finance Strategy, worked with the Green Investment Group to launch innovative climate finance vehicles and was the UK's climate attaché in Washington DC. She has a Masters in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from London School of Economics.
Having lived in London for the last 15 years, she's passionate about its communities. She's often to be found cycling around South London volunteering as part of Walworth Community Food Hub's COVID-19 response.
