Liz King BEM JP serves as Alderwoman for the Ward of Cripplegate with the City of London corporation. She works to ensure that the views and concerns of her neighbours are represented and heard and has played a key role in the City of London's civil society as a Governor of the Cripplegate Foundation.

As a pandemic response, Liz founded and organised the Square Mile Food Bank, which was set up at the request of Age UK. For this work she received the British Empire Medal for “Voluntary service to the community in the City of London during the Covid-19 Response” and was invited to the coronation of King Charles.

In her career, Liz has worked in a wide-range of roles in international heavy engineering and energy companies. Her experience includes corporate strategy, development, M&A and investor relations roles.
